Terms and Community Guidelines
Plain-English expectations for public profiles, posts, discussions, source attribution, content rights, and advertiser labeling on MFGAxis.
Terms and Community Guidelines
Effective Date: May 31, 2026
These plain-language expectations explain how MFGAxis should be used as a public manufacturing feed, supplier discovery layer, and discussion network. They are practical platform rules and may be updated as the product changes.
1. Public Posts and Discussions
Keep posts, replies, profile updates, videos, and press items relevant to manufacturing, machining, tooling, supplier discovery, industrial operations, or adjacent B2B work. Do not post spam, misleading claims, harassment, private personal information, or content meant to impersonate another person or company.
2. Content Rights
Only upload, paste, or submit text, images, logos, video, documents, and source material that you own, control, or have permission to publish on MFGAxis. Do not copy full articles, videos, photos, diagrams, or other protected work from another site unless you have the rights to do that.
3. Source Attribution
When MFGAxis discusses content from Cutting Tool Engineering or another publication, the page should identify the source, link to the source when a suitable source link is available, and keep the MFGAxis page focused on excerpt, summary, and discussion instead of duplicating the full source work.
4. Copyright and Source Corrections
If you believe a page uses content without permission, misses attribution, uses the wrong source, or needs a correction, contact MFGAxis with the page URL, the source URL if available, and a short explanation of the issue. Use the content rights and source correction page.
5. Vendor and Member Profiles
Company profiles, public member profiles, posts, replies, and submitted media may appear publicly when published. Private account settings are intended to keep private member accounts out of public discovery, but public posts and company-submitted details should be treated as public-facing information.
6. Advertisers and Promotions
Paid, sponsored, promoted, or advertiser-supported placements should be clearly labeled and should not be presented as independent member discussion or editorial source material.
7. Moderation
MFGAxis may remove, limit, relabel, or review content, profiles, source links, or account activity when needed to protect the platform, users, source publications, or advertisers. Account access and posting privileges may be limited for abuse, spam, repeated rights problems, or misleading submissions.
